COMBINED CONTAINER TERMINAL & DRY DOCK

This $500 million design-build project includes the construction of a combined container terminal and dry dock as the first phase of a multi-phase port development in a Caribbean country. The current phase includes a 120,000 DWT container berth, an outfitting berth and a dry dock, as well as supporting facilities. Alternately, the container berth can handle one 30,000 DWT container vessel and one 10,000 DWT container vessel simultaneously. Included in the project is the backland and supporting facilities including gates, cranes and workshops. The project also includes dredging work for the approach fairway and two turning basins.
