CONTRA COSTA TRANSPORTATION AUTHORITY PROGRAM

The Contra Costa Transportation Authority (CCTA) acts as the congestion management agency for Contra Costa County, California and administers the Measure C and Measure J voter-approved sales tax for transportation projects.  Collectively, the two measures provide approximately $3.2 billion for countywide and local transportation projects and programs.  CCTA was successful in leveraging the measure funding to attract additional regional, State and Federal funds to provide additional resources to deliver additional projects for County residents.  Programs and projects include freeway and local street improvements, transit expansion, and paratransit services.
